- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪After 20 years of increasing pain and NOBODY paying me ANY mind (Not UVA and not Martha Jefferson either), Dr. Purvez is the only doctor that has listened to me and actually begun to help. He has great bedside manner and his office staff are very pleasant people. It's also WONDERFUL that he has a small practice away from all the craziness of the big hospitals. That was a huge relief. If he seems to push injections, it's becaise he's thinking of your internal well-being, the health of your organs. All of those pills are hard on your liver and kidneys and some are extremely addictive. I think it's great that he works to give us long-lasting forms of relief that are possibly not as dangerous as opiod pills that can get into the wrong hands and/or make you a target for painkiller addicts.
